UAVISUALS were engaged in providing crop health analysis for a large orchid farm spanning over 1,500 hectares. Our client aimed to optimise crop health by evaluating irrigation efficiency, and fertiliser usage, and identifying areas requiring attention to achieve healthy, optimal yields.
Additionally, they expressed interest in leveraging AI to obtain an accurate count of the trees for record-keeping purposes and long-term monitoring

Drone surveys have revolutionised land mapping and monitoring, particularly in agriculture and environmental studies. Using multispectral sensors, drones enabled us to efficiently collect high-resolution data to assess vegetation health through NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) processing. Alongside the NDVI data, the RGB camera provided high-resolution imagery, allowing us to simultaneously capture multiple data sets.
Through the use of advanced AI-driven software, we extended our services to include an accurate tree count for auditing and reporting purposes. This additional service highlighted the versatility of our solutions and demonstrates how AI can enhance agricultural management.
UAVISUALS deployed a team of two operators over two days, utilising two Multispectral Agriculture Drones to complete the operation efficiently and effectively. Reports were generated in record time, ensuring our customer was thoroughly satisfied with the results.
