Aaron Rajamoney is a drone pioneer, commercial photographer, DOP, content creator and entrepreneur.
As the director and founder of 2 commercial drone start-up companies, Aaron continues to partner with industry specialists to develop and optimise business efficiencies across real estate, film and TV, tourism, construction and software development.
After working for over a decade in the creative industries Aaron started off in advertising and left as a digital marketing manager for one of Australia’s leading consumer electronics companies. Aaron founded a drone services & media company, UAVISUALS in 2014 when he realised working for ‘the man’ was holding him back from his full creative potential. After firing his bosses, he chased his passion and got behind a camera again (and in front!)
Since then he has travelled to all corners of the world, worked with top luxury resorts in exotic locations, has been part of numerous large infrastructure projects across Australia using drones and was one of the first to use UAVs for HV transmission lines. Aaron also is a board member for Rafiki Mwema & continues to volunteer his time and skills in African charities with yearly visits.
With a growing Instagram & YouTube channel, Aaron regularly partners with brands to deliver content that is engaging, relevant and unique. From photography gear to lifestyle products and companies that offer unique accommodation for the luxury, adventure and outdoor market. Aaron’s background in advertising and digital marketing combined with his natural creative flair enables him to obtain a truly unique perspective when creating content for brands.
Thus far Aaron has been an ambassador for Samsung Australia #tothemakers and #dowhatyoucant campaign, Adobe, Sentosa Resorts, Vengue camera bags, Proof Eyewear, Sandmarc filters, wandrd, Seagate and more.
“As a digital marketer I understand what a brand wants to see, As a creator I understand how to execute… Just give me a camera and put me on a plane… I’ll do the rest” – Aaron Rajamoney
His first taste of a viral video was creating a ‘product review’ in 2012 which hit 56k views. More recently, footage for The Edge Bali’s online campaign has gone viral with over 1.3 million views, assisting to propel the luxury resort to number 8 on Tripadvisor’s Top 24 small hotels list in Indonesia.
An example of his quirky content on his latest trip to Kenya. Teaching a Massai tribesman how to fly a drone.
